Moores CreekIdaho City, ID had one of the richest gold finds in North America during the 1860’s.  A visit there was recommended by most people we spoke with in Boise.  Off we went in search of Idaho City only to realize the ride there was beauty itself.  Below are scenes we encountered along the way to Idaho City.  The beauty was breath taking, but at the same time made us realize how difficult life must have been during the development of the Northwest Territory. Cinder Wines Boise, ID

SippingSunny Sunday afternoon and we were ready to sip wine.  Being in Boise, ID, the Snake River Valley Wine Region was very near, but after a week of family wedding festivities we wanted to relax and not drive.  In researching we found that Cinder Wines has a tasting room just down the street from the RV Park where we are staying.  Continue reading

Winds They are a Blowin!

Ranch EntranceWinds are gusting, interstate traffic sign flashing, Terry Bison Ranch RV Campground – yes we are exiting and stopping!

Approaching Cheyenne, WY, the winds were gusting to 50 mph and the flashing lights were alerting high profile vehicles to exit.  Exit we did and stopped at Terry Bison Ranch RV Campground. Continue reading
