The Warsaw Farmers Market, held Saturday from 8-noon, offered a variety of items. We specifically search for fresh fruits and vegetables. This market did not disappoint. Our purchases included tomatoes, squash, peaches and fried pies. Continue reading

The farmers markets in the area offer an array of vegetables and fruits on a regular basis. As we travel north, the farmers markets we find are generally seasonal. In south Louisiana the name Boudreaux is common and can be found in almost any town. In central Missouri, not so. We came upon the M. W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center outside Monroe City, MO. Being from south Louisiana we had to stop and find out about Mr. Boudreaux. Continue reading
