Pulling up the day/night shade, you hear pop and the shade falls. One of the cords has popped; what now? That happened to us in the wilds of Mississippi. There just happened to be a RV service supply center in the nearest town. On our next trip into town, we stopped and asked about repairing the shade. The cost for repair would be over
$100.00. No thanks, we can repair it ourselves. We ordered a repair kit which
luckily came with a video.
After putting the job off for some time, we finally decided to tackle the shade. We should say, John tackled the shade and Laurie was moral support and the gopher. Instructions said the job should take 2-2 ½ hours; it took us 3-3 ½ hours. The good news is there were no cross words, raised voices or eye darts flying.
