Veterans Wall of Honor – Bella Vista, AR

OverviewIn our travels, we find most communities have some type of Veterans Memorial. Some are very small while others like North Platte, NE are more elaborate. They all pay tribute to local veterans in their unique way.

Bella Vista’s Veterans Wall of Honor is a walk through history. Beginning with the Revolutionary War up to the present day, conflicts are listed on a timeline.

In addition to this historical chronology, on the east wall is the preamble to the U.S. Constitution. The logos of the various armed services symbolically support the preamble.

Flying proudly are eighteen historical flags, all of which have flown over some part of our nation. In addition the U.S. Flag flies mightily. In the center of the memorial is a fountain surrounded by greenery symbolizing the life of the United States.
